Quick questions about tech-brokers...

1) When you initially "buy" a module from a tech-broker using a heap of mat's, are you "unlocking" it so it's permanently available in future or is it just a straightforward one-off purchase?
If it's the former, fair enough. If it's the latter, that seems like a lot of effort to obtain a single module.

2) Do all the tech-brokers sell the same stuff or is it worth visiting a bunch of them to find different things?

You only unlock them with the mats, if you want the weapon/module you have unlocked with mats you will always have to pay for it with credits under outfitting. But there is no limit to how many you can buy (expect for your credit balance).

What a tech broker has available can vary, not every broker has everything from what I have seen so far.

I was under the impression there were two Tech Broker types; Human and Guardian.

They are under cargo racks if you are looking for a separate category.

Meta Alloy HRP packages get their own category and the weapons are in the experimental category.

So far I've tried 3 stations which DO sell a regular 4E rack but don't have the new 4E CR rack.

At this rate I'm going to end up having to schlep across to SD just to buy the damned things.

It's stuff like this that knocks all the fun out of it. [sad]

It’s not only available there, but I believe it is always available in the station where you unlock it. I’ve been buying mine at Jameson, after getting the first one at the tech broker’s station.
