I was watching the Abraham Lincoln interview on American television's Face the Nation, that aired today, and Mr. Lincoln brought up a number of matters pertaining to United States' politics, which I'm loathe to bring up within my video gaming experience and I apologize profusely for even having to do this. If it makes you feel any better, I hate that its a thing that comes to my attention and I'm often looking up into the corner of my room when it comes to my attention, if you catch my drift.
As anyone that's read The Nain Logs knows, its an incredibly violent story within an incredibly violent game within an incredibly violent universe. That being the case, there are old ghosts of the gaming community that haunt it and that's why I bring this up now, as I look up into the corner of my room. As it turns out, in my case, public service announcements are being impressed upon me as a requirement of my leisure activities.
Anyway, I'm essentially looking to see if there are any of you, and The Fatherhood showed up on my radar pretty quickly in light of their stated group identity, that would be interested in doing a stream discussion with me about the extreme violences in my story, The Nain Logs, and in the game on the whole, to discuss their thoughts on the matter from their position as parents, as I continue to write The Nain Logs. I thought to check see if anyone might have any thoughts on the matter that are useful to society, who might be willing to discuss the matter in a loose atmosphere, without any need for judgement, castigation, recrimination, etc. Just a place to share your thoughts in order to provide a more in-depth look at the concept of violence as it resides within fiction.
