Quick Suggestion for Nav Panel

IMHO, it would be great if the stations names would be displayed in green color in the left NAV panel, or at least with a green icon to their right (similar to how landable planets have a blue icon). Planetary stations could be purple instead (on second thought, perhaps a lighter shade of green would work better for planetary stations, to avoid too many different colors). Something like this:

That's an absolutely horrible choice of colour for those of us who are even slightly colour-blind. Anything in any shade of Red or Green would look too similar.

If you're going to do that sort of thing, it needs to be more distinctive, and ideally fully customisable.

As part of a whole-HUD new customisation process, where people could tweak all settings to whatever colour they wanted, then fine. Not as default for everyone however.

Ok bit of an OTT reaction there! Maybe not those exact colours but he certainly has the right idea, would make scrolling through the nav panel much more user friendly. This (with colour blind friendly colours) is definitely the sort of QOL improvment 3.0 should have.

Of course, color blind! Thanks for pointing that out. The reason for my suggestion is that every time I get to a system and need to scroll through that menu to look for a station, i constantly skip over them initially, then find myself scrolling up and down the list, then slowing down the scrolling and go one by one until I find it. This is even worse when you see the station in the list before you touch anything, then you press the hat switch "right" and the list scrolls down to the bottom by itself (grrrr...it was right there!). A different color or even bold text for stations, or something to differentiate them (like the icons i also suggested) would def help a lot identifying. Colors suggested were just to give an example.
HUD might need a complete overhaul, I don't know, but until then, this hopefully simple adjustment, if even do-able, could make things a bit easier.
