I think quicksand and/or tar pits would be cool.

Why? Wouldn't they just kill our expensive dinos.
Alternatively, they could be "decoration scenery objects" with a special kind of design, like a dinosaur skeleton in it, just like how the Tar Pit itself is present as "Decor" in both Jurassic Park: Builder and Jurassic World: The Game. And like all potential park decorations, they would need to have some kind of a purpose like what those two Ludia IOS games have for them.
