I really like CQC and yeah I know it could be improved on but maybe, just maybe if we could show some organization and get higher player numbers we could get FD to show it some love..[heart]

There are a lot of posts regarding match making and there being "no one else playing so I can't get a match" (I've quite often had this issue myself) but, there also seems to be a lot of people who enjoy CQC and want to play. Well my thought is this (just as the title says), why can't we organize and schedule dates and times for people to play, that way not only can we have matches but meet others CMDR's who enjoy CQC? We could all list our CMDR names, time zones, when we are available to play and what type of match we prefer. That way we could see the wheres and whens of everyone, then plan and schedule times to play accordingly.

And before all the ing and moaning begins, yes I do realize there are complaints about CQC other than match making but like I said earlier "show some organization and get higher player numbers" and then maybe we can get FD to realize the potential this game has. Also if we start to add CQC CMDR's to our friends list we could also have impromptu matches when we have time and just throw invites to people on our friends list, I wish there was a way to mark a friend as a CQC friend as I have friends that don't want to play CQC and may get annoyed by an invite. Just tossing this out there as a way to get higher player numbers, keep CQC going and hopefully in the end get FD to invest time and energy to improving CQC.

Timezone - Pacific Time (BC Canada)
Available - anytime after 6pm M - F and most anytime on the weekends.
Match type - any (although I prefer Deathmatch)

As a side note with aliens coming to the ED universe I could certainly use the combat practice :D. Especially since I am an explorer in the main game.

I agree with your sentiment OP, and to tgarpestad's point, we already have a pretty active group with the exact same goals that you have described. The more the merrier though, so come join us and spread the word.

Thank you CMDR, I have never seen that thread before and it is exactly what I am looking for. A lot of the time I do not have enough time for the main ED so I like to jump into CQC to sharpen my combat skills and have some dogfighting fun.

What really needs to be organized is a class action lawsuit demanding full refund or making "Arena Commander" play-able...
It does not looks like anything short of that would make Frontier spend any effort on the game...

1. CQC/Arena is playable for me and several others.
2. Arena Commander is a module from a different franchise.
3. Can I sue Prince's estate to release his unreleased musical vault?
4. Here there is a 15 day consumer electronics purchase return limit.

Are there any players from North America that are interested in CQC? I have manged to play late at night with the Europeans but am hoping to get some earlier play time so to all the North Americans that like \ want to play CQC lets start a list of North American players and their time zones, maybe we could get some CQC matches going.
