Quivira Community Goal was set up completely wrong

If you want to fight against Empire - go to Govel Dock and you can pick any ship in your arsenal.

If you want to fight for the Empire (me) .. go to Stapledon Dock ... and where am I supposed to park my Clipper?

This is completely dumn... it is not like we have many community goals to choose from.. There is only 1 community goal available now.

Does not make any sense whatsoever...

Go to godel dock, buy a small ship, fly to stapledon, sign up, fly back, hop back in clipper and spread the imperial enlightenment in those combat zones....well when they fix the bug that is.

I'm gonna fight against Patreus in this one, he is a traitor, I despise the other side too, but at least they let me land my Clipper.

So is it fixed or not? I don't want to fly all the way down there to sit around waiting for a bug to be fixed.

Nothing has been proven yet, it's all allegations with very little substance. Senator Patreus still has the backing of the Angeli Imperial.

It's a bit early for that. Sure, he's getting more and more suspicious, but open, armed conflict against him is still considered treason at this point. He's still a representative of the Empire.

This Community Goal is flawed heavily. Here it says ends tomorrow and in the goal it says 1week left. I signed up for Petraus and looked on the low intensity zone at Stapledon and found only Defence Force and nobody shooting. I looked at faction choice and only one faction to choose. I chose it and still nothing to shoot! Orange defense force and Green defence force and again nobody shooting at me.

What a wasted trip over here and spending money on a vulture to run to Stapledon.

He just freed the culprits behind the attack on the Emperor. It is greatly perturbing my basking.

Picked up a "kill warzone in Quivira" mission last night (australia time), there was one high conflict zone in Quivira but when I entered it no one was fighting, and couldn't select the imperial faction. Just 40 ships flying around. Dropped in and out a couple of times just to be sure. Eventually tried firing on one of the ships to see what happened (one of the friends of Quivira or whatever they're called). Sure enough they all went red and started to attack but the imperial ships just sat around doing nothing. Cue quick exit back to supercruise.

Must have been just before they started the community goal. Nice that all the combatants where awaiting the signal to start hostilities.

He hasn't 'freed' them. They returned under house arrest. Granted that's a lot nicer than prison, but they're not 'free'.

I'm still basking.

According to security personnel on Achenar, the leadership of Emperor’s Grace has been released into Senator Patreus’s custody, and are currently serving under house arrest in HR 706.

This is the first guy going down in powerplay (possibly before). Follow the princess, she won't die for another year (Pretty sure she's going to end up being behind it in the end, anyway. No? Only me? Fine, I'll take it.) But Patreus, He's going to be dead within 2-3 months (Maybe weeks). Perhaps because of the princess, Perhaps because of a mean vigilante protecting his homeworld, or my personal fave, because he went on a "President Halsey Tour", with bad intel (For instance, going to 78 Ursae Majoris, to preach the FED word, and a lone no-name (Commander "Lee Harvey Oswald" (Look it up!)takes him out, completely unexpectedly, and even the opposition is left with their jaws dropped, thinking "Huh?!" "What do I do NOW??!")

Lol!! I certainly hope you're wrong. I see the exact opposite, in fact I can see him being Emperor. I'm actually hoping for it.

I, while recognizing "that's how power is taken in the empire", think he is doing it wrong (on purpose, by way of the story-line). The princess has the inside track, and even if the emperor died, Patreus is not next in line. He has to move to "phase 2: the empress". But, there is a problem. His dirty laundry is being aired, not on ONE front, but like 3 different fronts. He's being "set-up", literature style. This is how a book does it, maybe not a persistent open universe, but a room of guys coming up with a compelling story. Perhaps THIS is what is wrong with the current build? Many of us were used to having our own universe, that we built, on our platform, to our standards (in 1999!)All of the complaints about A: and B:, and C:, then D:, then A again. . . .

To me it seems to be the 'if you throw enough poo, some will stick' approach by another Senator. Not naming any names, but it sounds like Porval. :D

I do believe he has a fine mess on his hands, but given his current relationship status I can see him being well protected too. I also think he may take a reputation hit, but not enough as it will come out that he had nothing to do with the assassination attempt.

Intriguing times ahead either way. As I said before, we remain loyal to him. :)
