Quivira missions

Ok, in Godel Dock getting missions to get the next Naval rank. Don't care who I'm getting them from as work for any of them will help.


So, I pick a warzone one from Quivira Electronics - Empire backed as I understand. Kill 7 in warzone.


Trundle off to the local CZ and by force of habit choose the Equality Party faction - the opposition.


Ah well I say, pick up some bonds then nip out, back in and change side.


Oh no - no need to. Making kills as Equality counts towards the mission as I discover in the transactions tab


So I get the requisite kills, "Objective Complete" pops up, SC back to Godel.

Empire offers me a naval progression mission

Yup - known issue with missions. For example, take a 'kill General X' mission. Visit the system, kill an anaconda (or whatever) but not actually the target you're looking for ..... objective complete.

Hopefully the new mission system in Powerplay will fix these facepalm situations.

Yeah had that one too - the Conda came up as System Defence force and in green. It fired on me, I thought cheeky git. He remained green. I let him fire for about 30 seconds and took out one of my a shield rings and he was still green. 25 seconds later his drop ship is dust and I get a bounty. Then mission complete.

I once managed to complete 4 assassination missions with one anaconda kill. Which wasn't quite what I wanted as I was collecting empire bounties for a CG that way as an alternative to RES hunting. :/
