Ship Builds & Load Outs Racing Imperial Eagle: Best Distributor+Engineering?

That’s my current build. Just something fun for flying about the bubble, canyon running and mat gathering, plus it’s really hard to hit if someone is feeling trigger happy. It isn’t a full on competitive racer. With the current distributor, if I spam the Boost button, I can boost 6 times in a row. What would the best distributor+distributor engineering be for that ship?

please note that if you upgrade the fuel tank or add a SRV hangar you will loose some speed, but it's still faster than your build.

Just switching the experimental on the thrusters to drive distributor gives you boost speed of 831 from the 787 you currently have.

Well, if you want to carry anything besides the ship (like an SRV), a Courier is better. You also have to check what special effect is better at your mass (drag drives or drive distributors).

If you want a pure racing ship, than it's DDT with drag drives and Imperial Eagle or Viper MK3. But you will have to stay with bare minimum and strip every %% of a ton to get to the maximum speed (932 m/s).
