Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.4.1 - Oculus ASW for R9 290/390, Fury. Vive AR for RX470/RX480

i currently have a RX480 and PIIx6 with a DK2. I disabled the ASW feat. some time ago because of flickerin/jumpin targets.

So I'm wondering what other AMD GPU users think about the quality of Oculus ASW support or SteamVR Reprojection. Do you use it? What Headset and GPU/CPU?

I will check tonight. I have an AMD Fury non x and the only real issues I have are on planets. The framerate drops, but that is my choice as I prefer nicer looking planet graphics.
I have a CV1.

At last. Been waiting for this for a long time.

Just tried it for 15 mins without any issues. CV1. 390X.

A couple of oddities - using the hotkeys (Ctrl+numpad 1 etc.) did not make any difference but I was able to use the debug tool to enable/disable etc. And if I turned the graphics settings up the FPS on the mirror window would show 45 and yet the debug tool ASW HUD would not show ASW as active.

Wonder when the rest of us poor souls with 390s will get some love. Suppose we shouldn't rush them, it's only taken 6 months to get to this point!

To enable the hotkeys, you must create a new registry key: "HKLM\Software\Oculus VR, LLC". Once created, add another key "LibOVR" and on it, add a dword "AswEnabled" with the value of "1".

This will enable the hotkeys:

Ctrl+Numpad 1: Disable ASW
Ctrl+Numpad 2: Force 45 fps without ASW (good to check that the hotkeys are working)
Ctrl+Numpad 3: Force 45 fps with ASW
Ctrl+Numpad 4: Enable ASW (default mode)

haha, funny thing is that I already had that registry key (set to disabled) so I deleted it when I installed these drivers, assuming it would not be necessary. I didn't realise that key enabled the hotkeys, so thanks for that, I will re-add it.

i rechecked yesterday. Right at the beginning i had flickerin orbital lines but after some time in space problems disappeared and never came back. but with fast head-movement i sometimes get the feeling something is odd... guess i have to double check which VR graphics settings to raise/lower for best experience...

Whats crazy is that you would think that oculus would add this to the registry with the updates.
