radio and tv news

i would like to see that when u go to a system that you have a radio that you could tune into so that you could hear about stocks at big space ports in the system and hear of attacks or bounty's in the system.
the tv you can get when you dock it would have an animated person that would talk about the market and also if there was famin in the start port show animated clips of riots or some thing just to show that when u drop food to the star port you see on the tv the change you are making to the space port. so that the player feels he his making a change and lets the player connect with the star port

Galnet is probably as good as you're going to get. I suppose they could try to make some kind of synthesized speech thing to read off those things but honestly I don't think I'd ever listen to it myself when I could read it much faster.

I'd like to be able to access system news in-flight not when I dock, it's the 34th century after all. Radio chatter would be cool but no way do I want that FMV nonsense Frontier developed for First:Encounters again.

Plus the practicalities of recording material
