Rail Gun from the Epsilon Fornacis Empire Group is illicit and has no Feedback Cascade

Mine is still sitting in Payne-Scott City in Mudhrid; I will not fit it to any of my ships in that state! Browsing its attributes remotely from Outfitting, it does appear to have both Long Range and High Capacity at least, but otherwise has the titular defects.

Will the correct module be provided? Until such a time, the Epsilon Fornacis Empire Group is deficient in meeting its contractual obligations...

Yeah, i wondered why i had to clean it too. I guess its a bug and had the wrong trait attached.
Though...i pretty much put it into the "storage of no return" after i saw that it uses 2.6MJ Energy, which is similar to a Size 4 Plasma. Not really worth it.

Uh, no you don't. You can't get Long Range + High Cap on the same module.

It's the exact module. You just had to pay an insignificant amount of credits and mats.

I raised a support ticket about this and just heard back. They are aware and are in the process of re-issuing the correct module to those that earned it. No time scale or mention if we get to keep the original module (I doubt it, its probably a straight swap so the guy above who already sold his might be out of luck) but its in hand apparently

Hopefully they also recall the enzyme missiles. CG that didn't reach tier 1 shouldn't have given tier 1 rewards.

I could understand the logic behind saying 'If they're going to bend the rules then they should have given it to the top 75%', but to hope that those who did get it have it taken off them just seems spiteful (i didnt get it by the way. just happy for those that did)

Any chance you can link the page where you submit a ticket pls? I followed 'Contact Us' from the bottom of these forum pages and got bounced around their FAQ pages until I gave up. I still haven't found the actual way to raise a ticket. I thought it was bugged or on hold for some reason.

And thanks for the update about Rail Gun, Ill just wait for mine to get replaced now I know what's happening.

Here you go: Support Request.

Its not the easiest to find. If that link doesnt work go into Account Support > Claiming Twitch Drops, there's a button at the bottom of that article to raise a ticket, its the only place ive found it (and you can use the same form to raise a ticket for anything not just missing twitch drops).

Should have your new railgun now (with added feedback cascade) and it looks like they let us keep the old one too, which is nice.

I fully expect them to remove the old one now as per terms of the CG. I can see a reason to give the new one first then remove the old one rather than the other way round....but who knows these days? This was obviously an honest mistake / error in the original Rail Gun...but so were giving the enzyme missiles out and they havent been taken back so far. I just wouldn't count your chickens just yet until someone clarifies what is happening and whether CG terms / rules mean anything at all any more.

The only way to test is to deliberately fail the next CG, especially if an A v B one and fail both just to see, but thats never gonna happen. So we just wait for someone to clarify.

Result! I cleaned and added Feedback Cascade to the first one so now I have a matching pair! At the moment I just need one on my Corvette but it definitely opens up possibilities for, say, the pair on my FDL ....

I'm afraid I fail to understand why anyone should care that you, Scrooge McDuck, are unhappy about other people being happy.

And hopefully they don't. I'm quite happy that the time I devoted to making it into the top 10% actually paid off. It's a nice a feeling.

( Also, its not like these racks are even good, lol. They're still quite bad. )
