There is a way to make crossings that look more realistic. You raise the land so that just the tops of the rails are showing, delete section of track, place path without curb, then build track back. Now you have a crossing where the rails are flush with the path. The people will walk across the crossing. Also you can sink track into path so that ties don't show on path. Makes crossings look better and people's feet won't disappear unlike with a fake crossing ramp over track. Also the screen pole and metal rectangular sign, with 2 forming an X makes great crossbuck signs.
