General / Off-Topic rainbow six siege worth it?

hey guys, need some advice on the game - rainbow six siege..
my mates recommended it for a while but im unsure..
is it a game that you get bored of easily?
ive looked at a few different reviews, and ive read quite a few bad ones (obviously im not stupid and know all games get a few bad reviews)
one said that the graphics are years behind - is this something that others agree with?
also ive read a few issues about people being stuck on the 'creating squad' part of the game - again is this a common problem?
i just need to know if its worth buying as on my regular site its currently got 65% off

(Warning, I'm personally biased!) DON'T BUY IT!!! It's a shell of it's former glory! No SP, Terror hunt is a joke for not being able to go in with AI team member's like the pre-Vegas game's. And supporting this game will just tell Ubisoft "go ahead ruin this franchise, we'll even pay you to do so!" And don't get me started on the CoD style "all gun's have(relatively) no recoil....rant over.

In all my many years of gaming not once have I ever liked an Ubisoft game. Never. That's just me though. I'm not saying they're <AHEM> or anything but....

The old Splinter Cell and R6 game's were amazing, but lately they seem obssesed to an unhealthy degree with winning over CoD fan's(never going to happen imo).

i had it for free when i bought my 980ti, was able to choose between the last assasins creed or this one... what a mistake i made.

If i was the company or studio who made this piece of bugged crap would be very ashamed, i don't understand what's going on nowadays with the game industry.

Rushed dev cycle's and trying to leech off the CoD fanbase(and failing 99.9% of the time).

As someone who preferred Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to just about any other tactical shooter out there, my opinion is NO. The game is a hollowed out shell of its former self. No significant improvements in gun play since R6V2, I find it clumsier to control, fewer features, and far too focused on online play. A shell of a game.
