Rainforest DLC

I know it, that not everyone liked the Tropical pack, because it is a Scenery pack and there are no birds.

I agree with that, because the tropical range of the Earth are the most diverse, so it deserves more.

An rainforest DLC would be great counterpart of the Tropical pack, I have two alternative versions of this.

Rainforest animal pack:
1. Sumatran tiger
2. Congo peafowl
3. Kinkajou
4. Victoria crowned pigeon
5. Dwarf crocodile
6. Bald uakari
7. South American tapir
8. Phillipine eagle (exhibit animal)

Rainforest expansion pack:
1. Sumatran tiger
2. Congo peafowl
3. Kinkajou
4. Victoria crowned pigeon
5. Dwarf crocodile
6. Bald uakari
7. South American tapir
8. Lowland anoa
9. Phillipine eagle (exhibit animal)
10. Linnaeus's two-toed sloth (exhibit animal)
11. Gaboon viper (exhibit animal)

I think, the ideal roster of a Rainforest DLC should include animals from the rainforests of all continents with mammals, birds and reptiles. Also, would somewhat mitigate the underrepresentation of Central and South America.

What would you guys think of a potential Rainforest DLC roster? How would you imagine as Scenery, Animal or Expansion pack?

Yeah. I hope we get another tropical pack but this time an animal pack.

For me something like this is the perfecto chance to help expand the latinamerican rainforests.

1. South american coati
2. Southern Tamandua
3. Spider monkey
4. Golden lion tamarin
5. Ocelot
6. Tree kangaroo.
7. Victoria crowned pigeon
8. WT: macaws or toucans

I agree with you. The tropical pack should've been an animal pack and I hope we get a rainforest animal pack one day. The animals in the tropical pack we're pretty okay though.

my list would be;
1. Southern tamandua
2. Mantled howler monkey
3. South American coati
4. Collared peccary
4. Sumatran rhino
5. Goodfellows tree kangaroo
6. Victoria crowned pidgeon
7. Red forest buffalo
8. Hoffman two-toed sloth

I would just make it an Amazon pack:
Black Howler Monkey
Golden Lion Tamarin ( another tamarin in the future for rig reuse
Squirrel Monkey
Brazilian Porcupine
Collared Peccary
Ocelot
Coatimundi
WTE: A Two Toed Sloth species

Here's how I'd do it. Heavy focus on the Neotropics/South America but with Africa, Asia and Oceania also getting a species each:
  1. Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
  2. Red-rumped Agouti
  3. Mantled Guereza
  4. Geoffroy's Spider Monkey
  5. Bolivian Squirrel Monkey
  6. South American Coati
  7. Lowland Anoa
  8. Macaws (5 species)

I really warmed up to the Tropical pack after being pretty disapointed at first. I provide 2 packs since i want a full SA pack aswell as a bunch of rainforest animals from around the world. They are my ideal rosters, not meant to be realistic

Amazon Pack:
-Howler monkey
-South american coati
-Margay
-Spider monkey
-Red footed tortoise
-Roseate spoonbill
-Collared peccary
-Macaws (WE)

General Rainforest Pack:
-Mantled guereza
-Tree kangaroo
-Silver pheasant
-Victoria crowned pigeon
-Red jungle fowl
-Lion tailed macaque
-Echidna
-Great hornbill (WE)

Rainforest pack's too similar to Tropical pack, making that almost or kind of already taken. Anyone think so? If there'll be an upcoming pack called Rainforest pack, here're the rainforest inhabitants I wanted Planet Zoo to get.
  1. African leopard - Rainorest was where it terrorized gorillas and okapis.
  2. Squirrel monkey
  3. Three-banded armadillo - That type curled like ball unlike the current types that Planet Zoo has.
  4. False gharial
  5. Green anaconda - with additional escape-proof ways to contain larger snakes like larger and/or longer Exhibit.
  6. For Exhibit: Pygocentrus piranha - Plant Zoo yet to house adoptable fish. Fish is the last of all five groups/kinds of vertebrates.

Maybe. But i really dont mind a similar theme aslong as it has some cool animals and pieces in it. They could just do a Tropical Pack Volume 2 for all i care

They live into Central America, so yes.
Well actually they prefer tropical dry forests not tropical wet forests which would be the key criteria for a rainforest pack. White Tailed Deer possibly do live in small pockets of rainforest in South america but I can't say that makes them worthy enough of a spot in a rainforest pack, tropical would of been a better pack for them.

I want so many animals! If I could break the jungle pack into several packs:
  • Amazon Animal Pack:
    1. Golden Lion Tamarin (I know it's south, but I'll say close enough)

    4. Southern Tamandua

    7. Scarlet Ibis
    8. Exhibit: Emerald Tree Boa (and/or Toucans?)

    6. Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
    7. Red Shanked Douc
    8. Exhibit: Panther Chameleon (and/or Lorikeets?)
  • Central America Pack
    1. Geoffroy's Spider Monkey
    2. Collared Peccary
    3. Roseate Spoonbill
