General Gameplay Raise the number of Pteranodon in aviary from 6 to 10 or more

I was a bit annoyed at first too but, eventually, an Aviary such as the one implemented can only house a limited number of similar animals. I don't think there would be enough space for more to live comfortably.

I goes also because of console limitations too, because Pteranodons won't be like any other dinosaur. They can't be recaptured, they can't be targeteable, and they move just in animation loops within the building. Precisely because of that, more animated ones won't likely be added.

But this also leads me to think the chances of eventually getting Dimorphodon are really slim at best...

Part of the problem is space for each individual's animation loop and making sure they don't clip through each other (the easiest way is to make sure paths don't intersect at all, but that takes the most space).

It's a bit of a weird spot at the moment as to whether more pterosaurs are being considered, it seems like it should be possible, but the Aviary seems very Pteranodon focused (Pteranodon slots, Pteranodon Hatchery, the hatchery doesn't open to a menu like a normal one).

You mean the Aviary is totally Pteranodon focused... with what it being both enclosure and hatchery for them, and they being little more than animations, in order to include some new species such as Dimorphodon, some really bizarre situations would unfold.

For instance, Dimorphodon are much smaller, so the Aviary would likely be able to house, say, 8 instead of 6. But if the building only sports 6 slots... what sense would it mean to have to choose between species? or mixing them with the same max number?

Also, animation loops mean they will likely need to be reworked to include more species, and that doesn't seem too likely to me. So I don't think Dimorphodon or any other avian reptile will happen.

But Frontier has already implemented the Aviary so... and I really would love to be proved wrong.
