Hardware & Technical Ram recommendations?(specs in thread)

So I am building my new VR rig finally(Sorry DK2 we had god times.)

I just nabbed a cheap EVGA Z170 Classified K and I'm wobbling over a i5 6600k or a i7 6700k.(overkill now I know but maybe not in a few years) They will be paired with a single EVGA FTW GTX 1080.(Sold my 970 and using my back up 750 TI for now.)

Any ways what ram recommendations do you have would be nice. I'm not too worried about price but I just want a solid set of RAM. I plan on overclocking and what not so that is something worth considering.

Case- Phantek Enthoo Pro(max fan set up.

CPU fan- Cooler Master V8 GTS

I am a big fan of Corsair RAM, the fastest supported on your MB is CMD16GX4M4B3200C16. But your cooler may get in the way on the Heat Spreader on the Dominators so it may be worth looking at CMK16GX4M4B3000C15 which actually have slightly tighter timings.

I have 4 Z170 chipset mobos and let's just say the ram compatibility has been interesting. I'd look for something around 3000 or 3200 ish, never mind latency, as long as it is on the chosen mobo compatibility list. Older 8GB modules are more likely dual rank which, at least for other stuff I do, have a far greater impact on performance (effective bandwidth) than latency does.

Both of the Corsair Parts are on the HCL for that Mobo, that is where I checked first.
