Ramming Virus

My Docking Computer has been infected by whatever is causing NPCs to ram. Three times it has taken a header into an outpost. Mostly it makes the turn and lands but occasionally it shows its affection to the outpost and gives it a Glasgow Kiss. :rolleyes:

Unless it's an Anaconda, I see no reason whatsoever to run a Docking Computer in a ship. And even in a 'Conda it's hit or miss.

It is laziness on my part. That and I enjoy the view better when someone else is driving.
The DC is a lot better than it was when it was introduced in Beta. Then it looked and sounded like a biplane almost stalling.

I trust it pretty much, now. There are some circumstances that make it confused. But under normal conditions I will not pay too much attention to it. I've even changed options while it was docking. :eek:
When I was testing it. I flew full speed into the letterbox before reducing to zero. And the Asp stopped before hitting the end stop.
That did it for me. :)
Even if you materialise in the vanes of an Orbital. It will take you safely out before docking.

Now I don't need to worry about getting the right angle to come out of super cruise.
