Ran out of fuel, Abandoned Cargo.... can I find it again?

I'm back in the system where I abandoned my cargo, so I assume it's drifting around somewhere, but how can I find it? Thanks

Cargo dropped will slowly degrade and be destroyed over time. Say bout after 5 mins its gone

It's gone. It either decayed while you were still there (containers decay quickly in space while you're around) or it despawned when you left the instance.
