Ran the game on my monitor again...

...and everything was teeny-weeny, lol. Pin sharp mind, but so, so small. It was like playing Micro Machines.

Won't be doing that again but for reasons of nostalgia.

I started in vr and about a year and a half later I finally tried it on a screen. The 1st thing I thought was neat there is a video game version of Elite. Then immediately switched back to vr so I could really fly my ships instead of playing the video game version.

I must admit i still use my monitor if i have some in game work to do like searching for Mats, Engineering where i need to look at 3rd party Apps for in game help. Hopefully with OR home 2.0 (Dash) coming out today, that will allow me to look at these apps in game?

Or

Thats what i am hoping anyway!

I know. What does make me laugh is when people complain that ships in the distance are really blocky (just a few pixels), but if you played on your monitor it's doubtful that you would even be able to see those ships at all.

Spot on. This is totally the effect of VR.
