Random question: Hibernation

I haven't played with any of the Hibernating species enough yet, but do they go through a period of eating a lot part of the year and sleeping through other parts in their habitat? Actually, I'm going to have to google if those animals actually do Hibernate when inside of a conservation zoo...

Just curious more than anything!

I hardly find the time to watch my grizzly bears, but i think they do what your article says.
Sleeping and eating, you hardly notice any difference
