Random rotation hotkey

I know hotkeys are something that get discussed fairly frequently but please, please, please can we have a keyboard shortcut for random rotation? I love this feature so much but it's one that needs to be switched on and off on a regular basis (e.g. placing trees vs multiple habitat education boards!!!)and it would be so much smoother and easier and quicker if we could do it with a hotkey. Pretty please with a sun bear cub on top?

Turns out it was there all along, in the Object Placement section. It's ; ( semi colon) if, like me, you scrolled through there and didn't see it.

But I do totally agree....I love this new feature and it's a real pain that there is no hotkey for it.

I've got an express keys gadget magic thing that I can save PZ shortcuts to. Makes life a million times easier!

I'd like it better if we could just activate it for Plants and Rocks without it being automatically activated for other Objects

Ahm guys? Did you even check the hotkey settings in the menu?

Because I think not...it's always been right there in the "Object Placement Controls"

Works just fine, been using it since the day we got this feature.

Well...always been right there is a bit of a stretch considering the feature itself is pretty darn new. LOL

But yes, I did look in hotkeys and didn't see it, perhaps I wasn't wearing my glasses. So thank you very much for saying something, so that I looked again! Why'd they hide a NEW keybind in the middle of all the old ones in the list. It's camouflaged!

Well, not really a strech since it's literally been there the second the feature was implemented so the hotkey for this feature really has always been there for as long as the feature existed ;P

And why wouldn't they add it there? As an option for object placement it's exactly where it belongs and where I went looking for it right away

I meant in the middle of all the Object placement hotkeys...that is the category I looked at as well, totally makes sense to be there. I just didn't see it squeezed between two other older hotkeys, is what I meant.
Or mayhaps I'm just making excuses for why I didn't see it...

Works just fine, been using it since the day we got this feature.

I did check - once after I had to reinstall the game and had to reset all my key bindings, and again right before I posted - but obviously missed it. But thanks for the (albeit snarky) reply.
