Random SRV damage

Did anyone notice that the SRVs were taking damage while flying through the air after 2.1 hit?

I know the damage model is WAY more sensitive now, but when I was in mid-jump and on several occasions I noticed the SRV go red, the sharper "I hit something" noise was heard and the hull integrity went down by a few %age points.

I thought I was seeing things at first but it kept happening while we were doing that mass run to Sanctuary Hill. I had to slow right down as I no more repair mats on-board and the integrity dropped to 21% at end.

I was absolutely sure I was in the air when it happened - so much so that I stopped to check that no one was behind me and ramming my SRV. I was running without shields though, so I am wondering if that is now necessary.
 
Yes, FD have gone from armoured SRV to paper thin chassis. I was doing 6 m/s and went over a smallish rock and lost 1%.

On a good note :
Materials are only visible in radar(and contacts list) for 50M. If you go back they re appear !
Tyre tracks, superb and persistant ! :cool: I can back track for a change !
 
Also, the throttle response is much better or was I imagining it ? It seems when I go to reverse and back the throttle works and SRV doesn't get stuck.
Bad : SLI lighting flicker still there(in ship and SRV)
