Random Stowaways - A new feature?

Hi Guys,

I was thinking: what about adding random stowaways in cargo containers. Say: you are buying a shipment of gold on the commodities market, and you lift off.
Mid flight, or when you sell the containers, a stowaway is discovered. You could get the option to sell him/her as a slave, or listen to an offer the stowaway makes you.
This could be: delivering the stowaway to his home in exchange for credits, or if the stowaway is a messenger of some sort (carrying top secret plans or something) or just charity,
with a surprise bonus, or deliver him/her to the authorities on your next landing. Imho: It would add some dynamic to the game.

What do you guys think?

(p.s.: Sorry if my English is bad, not my native language.)

They need to add the whole passenger transport mechanic into the game first, but it's a neat idea.

Your English is good don't worry about it :)

I like the idea, especially for when we can get up and walk around the ship. could be interesting to find a stowaway :D

In FE2, you needed to buy a life support module to carry living beings without killing them. Stowing away in random cargo canisters is probably suicide unless it was marked Live Animals or Slaves, because of the odds of a trader picking buying a canister not having life support on ordinary goods being quite high.

Nice idea, especially when we can walk around our ships. Imagine taking a saunter down to the cargo decks only to find someone lurking behind the crates. Are they friendly? Are they running from something? Are they trying to hijack your ship? Do they look like Christina Hendricks? (Firefly fans will know this spells danger)

I remember FD making a reference to the game analog of Star Trek's tribbles. I think they were in the older versions of Elite too. Stowaways or an infestation :)

Yeah, it was cool, cos if you bought a cargo of live cattle without a life support mod, you'd get to the other side and have raw meat (dead cows).
