PvP Random thought of the day: Pilot's Federation bounties

With all the rampant insistence that NPC's are not part of the PF, why do NPC's care if you have a PF bounty?

For that matter, why is the PF bounty displayed as a local bounty when it clearly is not?

Shouldn't the PF bounty be exclusive to players (as in assignment to, or collection thereof)?

Like so many things in this game, the sentiment was noble, but the execution leaves me wondering.

PF bounties are a pathetic excuse for the new C&P system. Majority of the PVPiers are billionaires and will not be worried about additional costs.
If they really wanted to fight the care-bear slaughter they should have made the stations refuse to service the criminals, and eventually with enough bounty value only anarchy systems would allow docking. Together with this, we would obviously need an anarchy system to produce higher than ussual rewards for all missions, but anyway lets just stop fantasizing and look and the scripted scenes of the thargoids.

To be fair, if you get scanned the PF bounty will prevent you from docking in all but anarchy systems.

Just low wake and drop back to the station. Minor inconvenience.

I just don't think it makes much sense the way it was implemented.

I said this as soon as they announced it in the beta, this wont work. Credit penalties are not a deterrent to anyone who was has more than 300 hours.
