Has anyone found the Serpent Nebula by any chance? I believe it should be located, and this might be confusing, if you orient the galaxy map like you're looking from the local cluster towards the center of the galaxy, and do a direct top down view of it, the Nebula should be west northwest from us on the same spiral arm. Idk if it exists or not but I cannot find it named yet so... lemme know haha.

Is the Serpent the same as the Snake nebula, because it exists, but it's not exactly where you describe. Using your orientation, it's NNE looking towards Sag A*
