Randomly caged animals

Hi, I don't know if this is bug or if I do something wrong but - my animals get caged all the time. I usually notice when I get notification they are caged for too long. Sometimes I witness they are getting caged after using enrichment item or jumping etc. In the middle of their habitat...

Yes, boxing, sorry. It does happen when I edit the habitat and that's ok. But it does happen much more on it's own. Like, I watch an animal rubbing its back on an enrichment item and then it gets boxed.

Must say it happens only to several animals/habitat. But I don't know the pattern. Some are big, some small, some for people entering some not.

Did you report the problem to issue tracker? I’m sure frontier could look into the problem for you. Now that I think about it every once in awhile it happens to me usually after first starting the game. My formosan bear would have this issue but lately I haven’t noticed this.

My animals would get randomly boxed if they got stuck somewhere (rocks, trees, jaggy terrain). It was a huge issue with my lemurs, who seemed to get stuck whenever they tried to get down from a tree. The enclosure was heavily decorated, so that probably made it a bit hard to come down

I wouldn't mind random boxing so much if the animal would just be unboxed automatically like when you move them...
I often get the notification of an animal being randomly boxed even if I have not touched the exhibit at all during my session...

This got fixed in the latest patch I'm pretty sure!
I believe the fix is that in most cases boxed animals are Imediately unboxed. Though I've had a few that weren't for some reason.

'random' boxing is usually a pathing error. So if you're editing the habitat that will cause boxing with any animal whose path your edits interacts with. It also happens with the climbing structures if there's no way to 'end'. Monkies and lemurs won't just turn around and go back the way they came but end up boxed. I don't know if this was fixed in the latest patch, but with how often my lemurs are being boxed I don't think it has been. You can fix it yourself by simply building climbing structures that lead back to the ground or have a larger platform as the end point so they can muck about them go back down.
