So I was landing at Solo Orbiter in Altair while doing a 30 hop rare trade run. I had 150+ tons of rares in my Type 7. Autdocking was going swimmingly, I was just about to enter the airlock. Then all of a sudden, no warnings, I just hear eject, eject, eject. WTH? And I blew up. Probably 6 hours of trading down the drain, not to mention losing 1 million on insurance. I didn't have any bounties, wasn't wanted, didn't get shot, etc. The only think I can think of is someone ran into me while they were speeding into the dock. It just makes me want to play solo now. I wish there was a way to go back and see what actually killed me. :S

A T7 or Asp came charging into the letterbox as my anaconda was slowly coming out tonight. I heard it go boom while looking at the 2 bars missing from my shields. Hope that one wasn't on a rare run... Wasn't in Altair so wasn't me

To OP: Ticket it. The same thing happened to me once. But with a 600k insurance and 2 million in cargo (all rares), I couldn't be bothered to ticket.
Happened to me, ticketed, got reimbursed the insurance but not the cargo. There are rumors that deploying your landing gear when moving too fast will blow you up. I don't think this has been officially confirmed.

Ticket it, it's a well known bug (if it happens exactly as you describes it). Happenned to me, also ticketed, they reimburse my insurance but not cargo.
Speaking of Solo Orbiter, Be wary of it if you play open it's the favourite haunt of a commander that specialize in exploiting station defense. If you have point defense turret, he will shoot a missile at you and quickly dock to avoid the wrath of the station & pay fine. You PDT will shoot at the missile, some will miss, hit the station and the next thing you know you're space dust. Not saying this is what happens to you, just a warning.
