Randomly upsetting the Law (System Authority Vessels)

Hi,

I've sometimes found that when I'm hanging around RES zones, a small group System Authority Vessels will randomly turn hostile and attack me for no apparent reason. No fine or bounty warning is issued, I don't get a wanted tag - just a hail of incoming bullets and laser fire from previously friendly units. Anyone know what's going on or seen similar?

it's a bug. if you search the issue tracker or this forum, you'll find other exampels like yours.

there are a few instances, where that might not be a bug (for exampel, if you are hostile with the faction spawning the SAV - you can check that via right hand panel or system map).
