Ok, I have looked everywhere.

Frameshift drive interdictor. What is the range? Why does it work sometimes from over 20ls and sometimes not even under 1mm??

What is wrong with it? WHY DOES MARGARINE TASTE LIKE PLASTIC!!?!?!

One of the constraints is that you have to be following your target. If you approach them from the front then it won't work, not even at under 1Mm.

I don't know the answer but it may also depend on the Rating of the Interdiction Scanner you are using as well as other considerations. After all, there has to be some benefit to using a scanner which costs 12,000cr as opposed to one which costs 108,000cr.
