General Gameplay Rangers: Resuscitating and Tranquilizing

Your Feature Request / Idea
Rangers should have the ability to resuscitate tranquilized dinosaurs. I shouldn't be required to airlift dinos every time their accidentally tranquilized.
Also, if their job is to care for the dinosaurs, they should know what to administer to revive sedated dinosaurs.

Furthermore, I believe that Rangers should have access to tranquilizers as well. Maybe not immediately but, at the very least as an upgrade that can be use in-game as a secondary fire. I've had more than my fair share of instances where escaped dinosaurs literally ran passed Rangers and killed guests right in front of them.

I know the argument always comes up that "it might make the ACU Center obsolete" but, that couldn't be any further from the truth. You always need the ACU to extract assets. With the lack of cattle prods in the game, it is worth noting that you actually CAN use the dart gun to deter dinosaurs from attacking perimeters. One or two clean (and unnecessary) shots anywhere on a dino that's attacking a wall will send it panicking for a few seconds to buy the choppers more time but, its such a dumb strategy that it makes me wish Rangers had access to tranquilizers.

Keep in mind, you still need to have an ACU center to airlift the dinosaurs to their enclosures. On top of that, the ACU choppers help with containing dinosaurs that are in areas that Ranger would otherwise be unable to reach (or access fast enough).
Also, here's a screenshot of me trying to get an ACU chopper with 3.0 Accuracy to hit a panicking Gallimimus...

Going back to the topic of tranquilizing, if it was added as a researchable upgrade for the Ranger station, every shot should cost twice the amount needed for "healing darts" as a convenience fee.

I like the idea of letting them revive a tranq'd dino instead of calling in a helicopter to move it an inch over. Call in the ACU to tranq an angry carnivore in its pen during a storm to prevent a breakout, and after the storm call in a ranger team to revive it. I think they made us use the transport teams because originally there were only 3 and we had to prioritize which animals got moved first. But now with 5 there's really no need to do that anymore.

Ideally, Rangers should also be capable of tranquilizing dinosaurs during storms because realistically, the tornadoes and storms should present some sort of threat to the choppers.
I think the increase to 5 pickups was a nice move on their part but, my stance on the Rangers needing tranquilizers as an option (via upgrade) at the very least should be up for consideration.
 
What if we went one step further? Transporting a dinosaur doesn't revive it. And ACU and ranger teams can tranquilize and revive.

Nooo………Unless there’s automation, I don’t want to go for extra clicks to revive it. My mouse’s lifespan is going to suffer with this. :eek:

This would be great, especially if you could revive dead dinosaurs, who have died through sickness or severe injury. However the ones that die from old age can't be saved.

for example: This was implimented in Operation Genesis, which shows it can be done. This game is using alot higher tecnology on this game, so it should be possible to impliment into the game. :D

Also I think I saw a comment about transport. I would like the opition to cancel the moving of dino's
For example if you go to move a dinosaur into an enclosure and it's the wrong enclosure you should be able to cancel it out. (The helicopter will hover in the air with the dinosaur until you select a new location. You can't select another option until you've done that.)
Even when you done that, the dinosaur will remain sedated until you get the Ranger team to go an wake her, or the dinosaur will wake up after a short period of time.

This would make a huge difference to sleeping dinosaurs, dead or dying dinosaurs and the transportation of these dinosaurs.
