Rank Advancement Mission HELP

I'm unsure if there is an easy answer, but I've been unable to locate a rank up mission after being @ 100% for an entire week. I've visited severval different outposts that have my faction's allegience, are controlled/exploited by my super power, and that I'm currently friendly with.

I'm aligned with Hudson and the Federation. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Hmm, now that you say it, i also haven't spotted those lately. Though, my first idea (without actually knowing anything) would be: how good is your standing with the minor powers at where you are? I could imagine that you have to be ally that you get those missions.

I am told they are rare now. No idea why since you have to already work up the bar. However, that seems to be the case. I finally saw one today for the empire. I was a 100%+ marquis since 2.1 came out.

Perhaps it was because people would exploit them by snatching up a stack of them whenever they appeared to get rank faster. Regardless, they are out there, but very very rare so far.

You seem to be looking in the right place, but are you looking for the right things? Ascension missions now look different to how they looked pre-2.1. They look just like other factional missions and they're mixed up with the regular missions for the Fed-aligned factions. The only way to tell is the mention of "Federal navy" in the mission title, and the new rank listed in among the mission rewards.

I'm 100% allied with the local Federation aligned factions and the Federation itself and I haven't had any either

It looks to me as though we are paying yet another penalty of not having an Ananconda with a billion credits and admiral rank before 2.1

Patch 2.1 should be renamed "screw the latecomers"

I found that if you go into the detail of the mission it says rank up under additional. I think it was a navy mission and it seems rarer now as if it was not hard enough already !
