Rank progression missions no longer random?

Hi all, I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, and my experience is too small an amount of data to extrapolate the complete conclusion, but it feels like the rank progression missions are no longer given randomly, but at specific intervals.

I've been trying to rank up to get the imperial clipper, and I noticed that after the last update, I was given three rank up missions in a row, followed by new ones every 10 missions or so.

I also noticed that whenever I go to a federation station, there is always a progression mission waiting for me.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Tested this. It isn't true. It's random and you have to keep grinding the missions in different systems.

After finishing a rank progression mission you usually get the same mission again.
But accepting this mission doesnt make a difference. Completing it wont give you a rank increase.
