RANK Promotion mission

Hi there, I am trying to grind the federation missions for ma corvette. I am running missions between Sothos and Ceos.

The problem i have is i have a rank up mission to turn in, i am the station and vendor i am meant to go to and its not recognized. no mission is there for me to close. yet my 'transactions' still has it available for a further 3 days.

Any help would be great.

sounds like you picked up a server bug have you tried loggin out an in again if so you may have to abandon that mission and hoc any goods blackmarket or dump etc
( good luck finding that missing@ btw ;) )
(also I found its good advice to clear all pending deliverys before Thursday morning server maintenance)
(note this assumes you are familiar with rank up mission process as it is a very rare bug imo were there is no option to hand it in period)

Promotion missions are obtained and completed via the Station Services Mission Board - not at a "vendor" or a concourse terminal. Or have things changed?

Hmmm... if it's in your transactions tab, could you post a screenshot (all pages - you may need to scroll a bit) of that mission?

Do this real quick: Select the mission in your missions tab and click on the galaxy logo at the bottom. It will show you what system you should be in to complete the mission.

I made the mistake once of thinking I was in the right station when I wasn't; I was supposed to be in another system at another station.

Well look here.... right where it says "Quantity 2/4". You need another two canisters of that mission cargo. Go back to Ceos, find the SS and pick up those canisters.
