I'm not sure this has really been an issue up until now with the release of Odyssey, but wouldn't it be great if you didn't have to get scanned as often in places you're friendly/allied?
I know that, theoretically, someone could take advantage of their high rep or rank and start doing illegal missions, easier... but... isn't that the point of making connections in the real world? But I digress...
The actual cause for my suggestion is due to the fact that you can of the authorities while mid jump because they just so happen to decide they want to scan you, and assume you're running away because you were already in flight... then there's a fine and then everyone starts shooting. I always submit to the first scan, but if I'm on my way out from the settlement to my ship and I'm in any kind of a hurry, some nosey commando is going to start shooting because of a missed scan.
What do you guys think?
