Ranking in Empire

Greetings!

I've done several military missions for the Empire, however
RANK shows 'NONE with 100%', unchanged since the last 5 missions,
REPUTATION shows 34% (CORDIAL)

What am I missing, any hints?

Once you reach 100% in your current rank, you need to find and complete a rank progression mission to actually be awarded the promotion. Unfortunately there's no way to get the mission to spawn, you just have to keep an eye out at Imperial stations until one appears. You can recognise a rank up mission by the fact that the description will mention the Imperial Navy ("Do X for the Imperial Navy", The Imperial Navy needs X", etc).

There is one bit of good news though. Progress towards higher ranks continues to accrue while you're at 100%, so you can continue doing normal missions for the Empire while you wait to see a navy mission.

Try using a Medium Pad ship..
I seemed to have a better chance of a Naval mission dropping while using my Python, running Data delivery missions..
Im at Prince 32% and RearAdmiral 16%, not in a rush TBH, they will max-out when I least expect it :)
