Rapid market shift ?

I usually use EliteOCR and have developed a habit of taking screenshots of commodity lists of whatever station I stop at every now and then, as I was docked at Adams Orbital I snapped a few including this;

I then switched over to the galaxy map to update trade info on surrounding systems and stepped away to make myself a cup of tea, then came back to this

So I'm curious, did the market shift so drastically within those 14mins, was this simply because I updated trade information on the surrounding systems and missed out on an opportunity to make a bit of credits, or is this a bug?

A few of my buddies and I are currently observing this very thing in every system in a 20ly radius of Sorbago with respect to Imperial Slaves.

I'm also seeing it, currently about 100ly from Sorbago.

Price on Imperial Slaves (including GalAv) increased about 6,000 Cr. all of a sudden. Bad news is the demand prices are still at the previous rate, which is less than the new supply price.

The markets shifted in a big way last night, over the course of a hour or so most of the trade routes I knew and used had shifted. I know Micheal Brooks was on the forums saying the market fix would take a little time to balance it out and I think we saw that happen live in the game.

Yep there is nothing selling for a low price right now. Everything is in High demand a maxed out buy/sell prices even on stations with high stocked items. Broken till sometime..sucks as I just got my Type 6 and started making massive trade runs at good profit. Seems like every time I get into a groove..something knocks me out of it each night..

high supply and demand, wanna raise prices so cut supply by shooting traders. Or run missions to cause an economic boom in system - same outcome

Imperial Slaves are broken. The galactic average jump between 16k and 10k every now and then.
This has nothing to do with supply and demand. You can stay in the same station and makes millions of credits just by waiting 10-20 minutes.
