Newcomer / Intro Rare Artwork wont complete

I accepted a rare artwork retrieval mission to get some Hybrid Capacitors. I went and successfully found the mission area (threat 2) and successfully retrieved 3 rare artworks after a good old fight. I returned to base and it wont allow completion. I tried again and got 3 more rare artwork, ensuring that it said mission required when i scooped them up., I returned again but no completion again.

Do you have enough free cargo and crafting mats storage to accept the rewards?
Also, have you scrolled down the page on the mission board? There may be a manual unload slider.

Naturally it's always the possibility that the mission simply glitched out. Can you take a screenshot, maybe?

Possible?
Absolutely. These missions have been bugged for months. Some work, some don't.
No option but to abandon it or let it time out.
