Rare footage of 2 Belugas mailslot mating ritual

Cold space. Hostile environment where most of life cannot exist due to harsh radiation, fierece solar winds and bone chilling cold. But even under such unfriendly conditions life can thrive.

In today's episode of "With camera among spaceships" we will observe one of the most rare occurences of Beluga Liners mating ritual.

In this picture we observe a pair of majectic Beluga Liners, meetin each other in the Jaques Station Mail Slot. Typically Belugas are found roaming solitary, spreading their mating calls "And remember that this liner is among 1% of all of them". But at the Spring time we can be witnessing their reproduction behavior.

On the left we have a male Beluga Liner, Apam Napat from DG Space Tours herd. On the right we have gorgeous female Beluga Liner, named Happy, from Beautiful Corner Tours. Female being bit shy tries to leave the Jaques nest but powerful male blocks the exit, presenting all his might.

Who will emerge victorious from this encounter. Will female weasel out or will male intimidate her and pass his design schematics and produce the next generation of offspring.

Happy, our female liner tries to escape with all the might of her engines. We can see how she gathers her strengths, showed by increasing exhaust trail. But Apam Napat doesn't go down easily. He is a young, strong male, despite loosing all his shields he is still 99% hull strong. Whitstanding pressure from the female. But she is becoming weaker and weaker every second. Regaining shields but her hull is just 15%. Looks like she will be subdued.

As expected, male Beluga, despite his youth, or maybe thanks to it, managed to impose his will. Victorious he is passing the Mail Slot, approaching weakend Happy. We know this by her depleted shields and hull at 0%. Mating ritual is now complete. Weakened female subdues, ready to accept Apam Napat's blueprints.

But wait, what we are seeing here? Ladies and gentlemen, we are truly lucky. Happy, from Beautiful Corner Tours herd, our female Liner was very ready to give birth. She wasn't trying to escape the Jaques nest! She was testing Apam Napat's strength. It seems he passed the test as Happy blew up at the end of the ritual.

In this picture we see the remains of our beautiful female. Next to it we see brand new Saud Kruger Orca, well grown infant luxury liner. For the time being hidden securily in the nest but ready to leave it already to gather passenger missions, feed on their dreams. With time he will grow bigger and bigger until he will became fully grown Beluga Liner. Maybe some day we will have the privilage to observe his mating ritual?

Untill then we can roam the stars and try to observe marvels of space life.
