Newcomer / Intro Rare issue, looking around in ship. UI (Hard to explain)

This is a little tough to explain, but I'll try my best. I'm currently using an x52 Pro. Anyways, sometimes when looking around in my my ship to check out the menus, I can't re-center my sight in the ship & and I can't change the power in my system, engine, or weapons. I can fly forward but I lose that control, and I'm positive I can't shoot either. It's like I'm locked in "UI mode".

How can I fix this? Sorry if no one knows what I'm talking about.

I do, but I'm blessed if I can remember which button I use to fix it.

Hmmm. If you tap whichever button you have mapped to bring up the UI panels a couple of times (open panel, close panel, open panel...) the game should close the UI for you and take you back to the default 'Launch: Station Services: Enter Hangar' menu. From there, pressing whichever button you have mapped to select items from the menu, should highlight the 'launch' option. From there, everything should work as normal.

that sounds about right for a fix, i've had similar happen where my view gets locked on somewhere and headlook stops working, pressing 2 fixes it.
