rare trade lists?

I decided to go on a rare trade route, but the list I found in a thread seems very flawed, since it mentioned 70 places, but some of them seem to be gone (Wolf Fesh, Indi Bourbon) and some bring me to place where stuff is illicit and when they scan me (even with silent running on), they take away the cargo, so no profit in that.

So I am searching for a trade route list which is legal and somewhat up to date, is there a thread somewhere?

Edit: I think you should look at the tools, as the available rares do change (as you have found). If you want to help free the blocked rares you could look at https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/354783-Community-Campaign-to-Liberate-Rare-Goods, but it's pretty quiet at the moment

Rares trading is somewhat more unpredictable than it used to be, since BGS states can now drastically alter the number of rares you are allocated. Booms can give a rather large boost, while Famine, Bust, Outbreak etc can reduce it to one tonne, or even zero.

There are players who do their best to ensure popular Rare systems are kept in Boom, but with so many stations to monitor, and so many other player groups wanting to change the BGS in Rares systems for their own benefit, there are no guarantees.

The "legality" of Rares is in the eye of the beholder - notably, the government type of the buyer and seller. It's entirely possible to take "illegal" rares from one low-morality system to another, and never be deemed to be carrying "illegal goods" unless you transit through high-morality space while enroute.
