Engineers Ships Raw Materials, Manufactured Goods (not cargo), Data scans perfect undebateable farms?

Forgive me, I have been around since october 2014 and I am just now getting to looking into farming materials in all areas.... well not exactly true. I almost filled my raw materials up by farming on planets one node at a time. But really what I am looking for is this:

1) The FASTEST (not debateable) way to farm Raw material. Means I want locations, and an exact list of things I need to fit to my ship and bring with me in order to pull this off.
2) The FASTEST (not debateable) way to farm Manufactured goods that I need (the ones that don't require cargo holds) AND means I want locations and an exact list of things I need to fit to my ship and bring with me in order to pull this off.
3) The FASTEST (not debateable) way to farm signal sources means I want locations and an exact list of things I need to fit to my ship and bring with me in order to pull this off.

Sorry for the harsh words, however there are so many people fighting out there about what is the fastest way to do any of these three things yet no one produces proof. It's all just lip service. Here is an example.

In the link above it is explained that the OP believes that using beluga liners is faster than dav's hope. Yet after reading his explanation and the entire thread. I have to admit his claim is bogus. The reason for that is this. I can at 20% drive around the entire Dav's Hope compound in about 3 to 4 minutes and get all 10 items dropped on the ground. Then log out and log in in another 30 seconds and start again. Sitting in the system the above reddit discusses attacking one ship takes about 2 minutes of attack time to destroy. Then it takes another 3 to 5 minutes of limpet collection to get the items. And the ships only drop 10 to 15 items on average. Further more the guy says that he could get up and go get a beer from the fridge and etc etc, that doesn't sound fast at all. I am talking about sitting at the computer grinding non stop until it's finished. What is the actual fastest method of farming all of these things in each category. Each of the three is going to have a different way to do it. Dav's Hope takes 3-4 minutes each time, the other method takes about 8 minutes and IS NOT by FACT faster. Even if you supped up your ship and used the ship with the greatest amount of possible dps and 1 shot the baluga. You still have to wait for it to blow up, and then you still have to wait 5 minutes to collect all the items and the more items the more time it takes. And if you're really good with the SRV at Dav's Hope and set your speed to 30% you can do it in 1:30 to 2:30 minutes.

So does anyone have a consenus of the fastest way to possibly find these materials in all three areas?

Please post video evidence if possible along with detailed notes. Thanks.

Let me amend something here, it might be the same speed or a little slower to destroy the baluga's because you can send out three limpets each time, and that will take about 2 to 3 minutes to get. But still even with a supped up ship you're not going to one shot a baluga. It's still gonna take longer.

You know, like manners?

Or do you just go around in life barking “I want this and that” and expect the world to serve you?
Read the the entire post, did you come here to fight and troll? The end of the post asks with manners, shows you didn't read it.

fastest way to get data is jameson crash site then data trader to trade down.

as for the others, there will always be a debate, some players can't stand driving in circles for an hour constantly logging on and off, some can drive in circles for an hout but can't stand the abysmal traction the SRV has in low grav, etc etc.
so in the end what is "fastest" is all a matter of what you can stand to do for an hour at a time.
also, that beluga method is using a not quite ideal ship, dump one of the size 6 cargo racks for another collector controller, if the target isn't shooting back and your not doing evasive flying limpets can last most/all of there "on paper" lifetime.

as for the video evidence and notes about jameson crash site, find it yourself or don't complain, its not hard to find and if you can't stand 5 minutes spent googleing, your never going to last the mat grind, heck, you may not even stand the trip out to some of the places.

Jameson crash site for data.
Crystal Shards for raws except Selenium (probably faster in Horizons than Odyssey due to changes in PoI distribution).
High Grade Emissions in No State Empire systems* for manufactured.

Jameson and HGEs can be farmed by relog, crystal shards doensn't need it.

Then trade to what you need.

*Cemiess, Vequess, and Facece are all generally reliable, small systems with high populations.

lol forgive me, and for the sake of conversation, what is HGE?

high grade emissions.
and to farm them requires quitting to desktop and re-launching from the launcher, not just exiting to the menue (i have tried both, only desktop and restart from the launcher works)

Okay then where are they extremely common at that doesn't require a full restart from desktop? Also lately I have noticed missions giving huge bundles (up to 25) reward for different wake emissions., what systems commonly give these for rewards? please.

HGEs drop G5 mats, anything that drops G5 is going to be a pain in the butt, unless its data or raw mats
for the wake scans, those are data, go to the jameson crash site, farm and fill up then use the nearby data trader to trade down and around and then repeat till you have all the data you want, for the jameson crash site a simple exit to menu then back into the same mode should suffice.

for HGEs, 2 methods to farm:
method one:
scan nav beacon, then go to signal that has at least 15 minutes left, farm, exit to desktop, restart from launcher, enter SC, kill the throttle, turn around, reenter signal, farm, repeat
method two:
scan nav beacon, go to signal, farm, go back to nav beacon, exit to menu, return to same mode, scan nav beacon, repeat

keep in mind, engineering is a massive as hell pain in the butt, only time its "easy" is data or raw mats, use crystal site and fill up and you won't have to do them again for a long long time (of course, one could argue that requiring a 1500LY trip each way is a pain in the butt)

again, G5 is the rarest grade of mats, they are not easy to find for the most part and don't try to trade up, you will quickly find that its much less sanity killing to farm higher grades and trade down.

if i may say so, you don't seem to have the patience to grind mats and/or have no idea what your getting into.

by the way, have you looked into unlocking the engineers? you can't do a "walk in" for mods (unless you want to get shot)

edit: heres a page about trading mats, https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Material_Trader

I am elite in exploration (been to Sag A twice) and I am a tycoon for merchant, master in the other. I don't do CQC. Anyway I am a King in the Imps and an Admiral in the Feds. My anaconda can jump nearly 76Lys FSD engineered, along with the 8A power plant and I think a 6A shield. I am an explorer mostly. I have just recently grinded ALL of the guardian stuff to completion in about a day and a half worth of game play. Right now I am interested in getting all of the mats for all of the engineers I have not unlocked (I think 2/3rds isn't unlocked). I want to also max all of their recipes to the maximum per engineer. That is why I need these three areas to be spot on.

I know that I could use Dav's Hope no problem for a hundred hours or so to get all the manufactured materials maxed, I have most of the raw materials maxed or close to it already from just driving on the surface of any planet I went to. However the real pain in the butt comes from looking for signal sources flying through each system. I have looked extensively over the internet and there is fighting or arguing or disagreements over what is best. I have tried a few and they never pan out. I am a patient gamer. I can spend HOURS in games that people take 2 hours to play that are not patient. However if I don't know where said thing is in guarantee. Then I am not really interested, I lose motivation to even try. I just want to unlock everything and have it at my disposal and then explore again....

Im sorry what I mean by signal sources is actually looking for wakes, I need the data from wakes and that is a pain in the ass to find.

dav's hope is a good source for manufactured mats, but it has a wide spread and only goes up to G4 so it is possible to end up maxing out one mat and then "wasting" time because the only way to re roll the mats is to relog.
HGEs give G5 mats, each G5 is worth 3 G4s and are probably the fastest, but they are royal pain in the ass to farm.
finding a system in anarchy and shooting the mats out of random passerby also works, but is probably the slowest and most risky

so now you know why there is debate about the best way to farm manufactured mats

wake scans are fairly easy to get, go to jameson crash site and farm there, then go to a data trader and trade for wake scans.
that method is probably the hands down best way to get wake scans of whatever grade you want (along with any other data mat).
note that if you play in odyssey the co-ords might be different, so make sure to bring a DSS if you want to quickly find the site
