Raxxla is a precious gemstone on a wedding ring

I no longer care.

Mystery was fun for three years. It's getting boring now.

If there were an actual trail to follow, I might be captivated by Raxxla.

But there isn't. There's nothing, and I no longer consider FD saying "it's there to be found" as evidence that it really is.

Ironically, I've moved onto forming and discussing theories on the vanishing of the Dwemer in Elder Scrolls.

Now that is a video game mystery done right. FD should take notes.

Yeah, the ring was a joke.

But I stumbled into actual trails - dead ends, false ones.

Now this could be an amazing amount of coincidences

Googling for Omphalus, it's a Navigation and marker stone in the centre of "something", like a marker of an axis, origin, core or foundation....

There are similar concepts of these markers in other cultures that are at the centre of a realm or reality.
Like Axis Mundi ( a system found in Imperial space).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axis_mundi

or another system called Bodhi (tree)

These two systems are 132 ly's apart
In Keren, coincidentally being in the middle between these two "marker" systems, has a civilian installation, a comms installation and its name, "Major Foundation".
Coincidence? Probably......
Maybe a subtle tease by the devs' that this is the right "track".

With my head reeling I docked up and checked the faction list and mission boards.
One of the factions in Keren is called Crimson, and another Herring.
Now, that is clearly going to be a coincident of the RNG system with my brain in a highly subjective mode, so faction names in Keren maybe "A Red Herring?"

But what if there are "more" systems, that fit the axis-mundi naming conventions, and much like the erroneous astronavigation in the Movie Star-gate
6 systems, broken down into 3 pairs.
Crossing at the same point.

is Yggdrajang https://eddb.io/system/19577 - really the tree in norse mythology that connects the 9 realms which goes by the name Yggdrasil

Do we need a 7th symbol for a journey?

There are many stars, many systems that all got their names from Mythological and Religious characters and places, all of which have references to their own cultures, core-" Navel" Marker
