Hello.
I wanted to share with you my theory about Raxxla.
There is a beacon in Sol

Screenshot_0054.png

found buried ✅
still surrounded in secrecy ✅ (by the real Dark Wheel, not Shinrarta impostors)
no information has ben circulated ... (properties, origin) ✅
nonhuman ✅

so, it could be some kind of gem or crystal with special properties, which fits in the palm of your hand.
A source of tremendous amount of energy necessary to travel to other galaxies.

Primary sources say that The Dark Wheel is "orbiting the eighth moon of an unnamed gas giant"
The only known locations is in RA system

now will be an interesting play on words
XXL means big (giant)

RA + XXL + A (not known yet)

The installation name is Steelhook Hold
There are no known owner.

The tunnels/accelerators perfectly point to the Small Magellanic Cloud
SMC is a dwarf galaxy near the Milky Way (200,000 LY)
the SMC has a diameter of about 7,000LY
so it's (ingame) implementation does not exceed the FDEV possibilities.
it's like new region.

IMO it's gem/jewel/crystal activated accelerator

Brother honestly , its interesting yes but .....
My 2 cents for this Raxxla thing are , the only sys actually touchable by what says on the dark wheel novel , and that is where the kid was send to meet his father friend , the Magellan sys , its near colonia , pretty awkard , as a toon of settlement own by some Pioners and Explorers guys and a neutron star , dunno why but i see no one talking about it , or maybe im wrong real bad.....
Cheers :)

strange sound in galaxy map
after scanning with data link scanner

it sounds like target system changes every second

there are no hints..no rumors.. there is absolutely no reason why fdev would want raxxla to be found as it means creating a thing worthy of all of the attention and effort spent to find it. and simultaneously losing something that has sparked widespread interest among it's players for years. The search.

if it can be believed to be in the game, then it's either locked in a way you can't access it or will be implemented in a way that keeps the search alive for others. In other words, completely non-interactive to a player and no longer in the position they found it in after finding it.

The location of the dark wheel, if we are also to believe is in the game other than the fake faction front, we would also have to believe doesn't know the location of raxxla any more than you do. they're searching for it. It's why they exist currently.

This is interesting. A few days ago, I watched the Youtube video "Hunt for Raxxla with SCIENCE!! with Down To Earth Astronomy" where a short list of systems is derived by comparing the system names in the old Elite and the current Elite Dangerous. Afterwards, I had already identified RA 13 H as a location worth investigating, because the system was on the short list and it had a gas giant with an eight moon. However, the chance to actually find something there seemed remote, so I continued exploring and put Ra 13 H on the list of things to do later. Then I stumbled over this thread and decided to rush home - 26000 Ly.

I hereby confirm that in System Ra, there is a station called "Steelhook Hold" orbiting the moon Ra 13 H. There is a data link. After scanning the link, there is some kind of ping sound while watching the galaxy map. Aaand: The ping interval becomes very long if the galaxy map is focused in the region of: Maia.

if its not written into the game code using the cobra dev engine then one may argue its not in the game besides if the cannon group can find all the thargoid base locations
in under 3 days from when they where introduced then I am sure it would have been found by them since 2014
far easier to say it is in game and if they want to reveal its location pick an unvisted system and code it in any time...….
what you wont see is a photo of a younger david braben on a pc visiting the system in 2014 EVER
still I wish you all the luck in the gal finding it

Hiding the best quests from players until they stumble upon the trigger is the basic concept of the traditional Elite. Therefore, the probability that Canonn did not find everything is greater than zero.

However, the Steelhook Hold in Ra is a type of installation which wasn't present in the game in 2014. Therefore, it might as well be some random content.

Inara lists two more installations with the name "Steelhook Hold", one in Psi Capricorni and one in HIP 78399. I haven't been there, yet. Maybe these are just generic objects with generic names and the location at an eight moon was just a coincidence. Well, Canonn doesn't seem to list anything about the "Steelhook Hold" installation(s). So maybe they don't yield anything interesting.

In addition, it seems that the ping sound in the galaxy map is not unique to "Steelhook Hold". The same occurred while rummaging about some listening posts in and around Maia. So maybe the ping sound phenomenon always occurs while being in proximity of a scanned data link?

I also noticed some slowing down of the ping interval when focusing the galaxy map in the region of Sagittarius A, although not as much as with the region of Maia. A common property of both locations would be the presence of a black hole - but other regions with black holes did not seem to slow down the ping interval.

The Steelhook Hold installation in Ra contains some hackable positions that are revealed after a scan of the unauthorized installation object. Apparently, the proper procedure when encountering such hackable positions at unauthorized installations would be to scan them... and then send recon drones there. However, my character is a lawful civilized commander with a pristine criminal record. Mere curiosity is insufficient justification to use drones to drill holes into other people's property. Therefore, sending recon drones to the hackable positions at the installation "Steelhook Hold" orbiting "RA 13 H" is unfortunately completely impossible.

This is FAKE (IMO) !
I have determined that this is a reworked image.
This is ROXO.
It's easy to change to RAXXLA

I never said it wasn't a fake? I thought it blatantly obvious that's the whole point
I did it with ms paint in a few mins
if I had intended on a fake I would have changed Scorpio Midget to auraxis or something just to throw ya a wee bit
and changed the distance

For the sake of completeness: You will probably NOT get 1 free Anaconda at Hutton Orbital.

I've been doing some 8th moon tourism lately. Pulled data from EDSM and filtered for systems with 8 moons, plotted routes with shorter jumps. Skipped some white stars, though. After an unfortunate encounter with a white star in my Sidewinder very early in my career (that is - about 2 months ago) I decided to avoid white stars. Even if they have gas giants with 8 moons nearby.
