"Raxxla" potentially being found hidden in a USS makes so much sense when you consider...

That that is where the rest of the game is as well...

Thargoids. (Non Human) Unidentified signal sources.

Missions. Your bounty/assassination target is in a USS that will contain them.

That Core Dynamics/Imperial shielding/Whatever Engineering stuff you need? Come find it (occasionally) in a USS!

(If the whole finding Raxxla thing turns out to be legit Ill link it but until then just know someone thinks they found a planet that is partially see through in a Signal Source )

On the other hand..
- barnacles (so do many other ground structs): NO USS
- Thargoid hyperdiction: NO USS
- Critical mission messages: NO USS

I don't really buy the whole USS thing at all.

That totally makes sense. Maybe there is just no chance for Raxxla to be found in a USS until you're at least 1 lightyear away from the main star and even then the chance is insanely low

Was that good enough to convince at least some people to fly out 1ly in supercruise ? :D

I thought the same for awhile. But then it didn't make sense how a planet would hide as a signal source when all other planets shine like a beacon.

I've flown out 1Ly before….it takes a while… :l
