Not wanting to hijack Para Handy's Lost Future thread about the spaceship house, here's a separate spinoff, because it got me thinking.
The Lost Future of the 50's might be unknown to people above a certain birth date. Ahem.
But there was a time when Captain Kirk would later become a "modern" take on the contempo heroes. Real men wore uniforms and toted blasters, women were unseen, and alien life was out to eat us and impregnate them.
You might have seen this on the sets of Big Bang Theory:
Anyhow, this being a British site and all, here's a cool blend of 1950's Raygun tech and Colonial Space Exploration a la the East India Tea Company.
The Steampunk quality is great, and you may even purchase(!) any ray gun you like. If only they worked...
