Razer Tartarus Pro mapping

So i bought this today as i moved to PC in January. From console to keyboard it was very intimidating but i tried my best, it was alright, but at times i would still get lost with all the keys and have to look down.

Looking for an alternative this appeared to be exactly what I needed.

small compact, kinda neat looking. i like it and see the potential right in front of me.
BUT the daunting task of mapping everything to it is doing my head in.

i was curious if anyone of you has a similar input device and wouldn't mind sharing your mapping with me (cut some corners so to speak)
or give me the best advice with it!

so, still new, made a mess of my mapping, but i can easily relearn a new layout no problem.

hoping this just isn't a "figure it out on your own everyone's is different" thing, there must be a standard layout for people with this.

Thanks for reading ! o7

i was thinking of using the key map indicated for specific tasks such as combat, travel, maybe srv? any thoughts on this?

what would i use the scroll wheel for aswell! thanks

I have a Tartarus V2 though I don't use it for elite as I have a hotas setup.
I do use it for almost every other game I play and don't know if I could ever go back to using a keyboard to play.
I've never seen profiles listed online so you'll have to bite the bullet I think to program it yourself.

I'm using the Orb weaver chroma and X56 Rhino. I have all menu navigation on the orb weaver including bringing up the galaxy map and system map which still leaves the most of the top and bottom rows for other stuff... thinking of using those for quick comm macros. All ship control is mapped to the joystick.

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago. I use a HOTAS setup, but wasn't happy with the using keybinds on the Throttle/Stick for using the menus. So that is what I use the Tartarus Pro for. Since you can use the Razer software to emulate anything from keyboard/mouse to a gamepad it is pretty flexible.
