RCT 3 PC RCT Platinum Downloaded version bug

I have the online download version of RCT3 Platinum.

Though supposedly all the patches have already been applied, it suffers from the infamous night-time slowdown. Things come to a virtual standstill every time the sun goes down.

I need a solution to this problem! Any help or suggestions?

Unfortunetly the available fix won't work with the downloaded version. Your best bet is to contact Atari directly, they may know of a fix that I am not aware of.
