Maybe it sound like a stupid idea, but what do you think, if Frontier would „convert“ some of the best RCT3 Custom Scenery objects to Planet Coaster and release them in a DLC? Because of the rights of the original creators this must be a free DLC.
We all know that without the possibility of custom scenery, RCT3 would not have survived over all those many years. All the custom scenery creators have done a lot, to keep the old game still alive and in our minds. Frontier could spend them a little honour with a DLC for Planet Coaster, based on their great additions for RCT3.
The old RCT3 walls and objects have nearly the same scale and size as the objects and walls in Planet Coaster. But to realize this idea at all, it may require that the manufacturers of the Custom Scenery objects still have the original models and textures and these can at least easily be converted into a Maya readable format. Many RCT3 custom scenery creators have created their models with Sketchup, which is easy to use, but partially restricts compatibility.
I'm pretty sure, that Frontier would never took this idea and never will create a „RCT3 DLC“, but who knows???
Personally I would love to see all of Shyguys Sets in Planet Coaster too. And I have also the great sets of Ralfvieh on my wishlist for PlanCo.
