RCT 3 PC RCT4 for PC cooming in 2015!!!

Atari reveals RollerCoaster Tycoon World, the possible successor to RCT3 finally will hit in PC in 2015!!!!

This game would be distributed by Atari and developed by Pipeworks Software.

Unfortunately Frontier not seems to be involved, designer of such interesting titles as its predecessor or Coaster Crazy for mobile devices.

AWESOME, RIGHT? YOU'RE READY? :p

I will wait for the reviews before even contemplating buying this.

Pipeworks don't have a great track record (Zumba Fitness, Night at the Museum being two of their previous...ahem...games).

This could be either very good or a complete travesty.

The images speak for themselves. It seems to be a great game:

I should also say that there will be multiplayer, which will make the game more fun.

Yay, graphics. It's not text based - that's a start (although some of the best games I've ever played have been text based). ;)

Will it... really... like Sim City you mean...

I will wait for the reviews to come in.

The graphics are crisp, clean and colorful, with that I am satisfied. Seems better visually RCT3, that was one of the goal.

In the multiplayer mode, you can create your amusement park on a plot that's connected (by monorail of course) to three other plots. These can be inhabited by your friends' parks or people you meet online to create a multiplayer massive theme park. But before you cry all SimCity on me, Kennedy (the producer) was quick to point out how Roller Coaster Tycoon World will be different from EA's game.

Well good, and I hope they actually follow through on their ideas this time and see if they are actually useful!

For instance, in 3 (and 2) we have the peeps ability to be aware when they are being watched: "Who's watching me?"

Now, while this was mildly amusing for about ten seconds, how about the rest of the ten years I might be playing this game, wouldn't it be great if we could actually follow a peep around and see what they do and think without them sitting there all paranoid? "Am I being watched?" "Who's watching me?" etc.

How much of the peep's AI did you waste providing that "little joke"? What about the long term playing aspects of the game, you set up this wonderful security/ surveillance system, then negate it with your little joke...

THINK! Think about your patrons instead of your cutsey little "someone's big idea"!

Just because an idea is yours doesn't make it necessarily good!

Another instance, you have that "flashlight pointer" that comes on in the dark... it's useless first off, when you select a piece of scenery the whole area lights up anyway... next, it spoils your night time pics!~ It's in the way, get rid of it or make it OPTIONAL...

Again, just because an idea is yours, that doesn't make it good. Good for your career maybe, bad for thousands if not millions of your patrons!

Think... it... through!

Oh, and you don't even have a popcorn stall! Perhaps you can trade some of your "in my personal box" ideas in for some obvious ones like having a popcorn stall at an amusement park!

Okay, rant over!

Thx :)

Well Im soo excited on that! ...
Will it be able to compete with the community made RCT3.1? (thats how I call RCT3 these days)
If not we will soon have a huge return of players to RCT3.
Also keeping in mind the latest PEP announcements....;P

Atari has very poor communication with fans. Apparently, the game has changed to come out at the end of 2015. The trailer presented (according to them, a pre alpha phase) is horrible. I think the change of developer was the worst mistake of Atari. When Pipeworks Software was in charge of the game, the game looked beautiful, Area 52 Games now have less communication...

The trailer of ''pre alpha'':
