Re:An Appeal

Good Evening.

I recently made an Appeal (post here) Unfortunately I made the mistake of suggesting selling my account, something I should have realised was verboten. so the post was locked. Didn’t really think about it at the time unfortunately.

I am still stuck with an account that I cannot use, and I would wish to pass it on to somebody that would make use of it. I would appreciate anyone telling me if this is possible, and the ways I could make it secure. I only have use of my friend for then next few days to help me type this out, after that it is extremely difficult for me to use the keyboard.

I would hate to waste my account, so would appreciate any suggestions on how I could pass it on to someone who could make use of it.

If I cannot find a legal way to transfer my account, then I will have to surrender it to FD, which would be a shame.

I don't think anything's really being wasted per se; an account isn't much more than a few rows (at most) in a database.

The mod suggested contacting "Edward Lewis" Am trying to get as much information as I can before I make any sort of appeal, as I am not sure what my situation is legally and it makes it easier to say what I need to if I have as much information as possible. I wish to make things as easy to the moderators, and that means knowing exactly where I stand. And this is not a legal appeal against Frontier Developments, only a way to make reuse of my account.

Still seems a bit of a waste even if its just a few rows in a database. I paid extra to put my name in the database. My real name is floating out there. If this account was active again, my alter ego would be active, even if I wasn’t in control.

I will never be able to play Elite again due to the limited mobility in my arms. But somebody could make use of my account, And if that is possible, I would like that option.

As mentioned, the Mod said: 'In your situation I would suggest contacting 'Edward Lewis' on these forums. Also I recall a feature in an early newsletter highlighting a player who is basically fully disabled.' That player is dilli-theclaw - and Edward Lewis can be contacted here.
